What sizes do you offer?

We make fronts that fit the IKEA SEKTION kitchen system. The height and width of our product is the same as IKEA’s however our depth/thickness is ¾” whereas IKEA’s is ½” or 5/8”.

Can I design my kitchen Myself?

Absolutely! Our model is set up to enable the DIY-er to take on ordering their custom material themselves.

If I modify a cabinet, can you make a custom door/drawer size?

We currently do not offer custom sizing outside of the standard IKEA product.

Do you make fronts for cabinets from other companies?

Do you offer in house design services?

We are an online based company and as such do not offer in person services. Our goal is to help individuals to take charge and order their own custom product for their projects.

What are the material dimensions?

Our products match the same width and height of the IKEA material. The depth/thickness of our material is ¾” whereas IKEA’s are ½” or 5/8”

What are your products made of?

All our product varies in composition from product to product. We offer painted, Therma
foil, and veneer products. With MDF or PBC cores. Please see each product for more information.

Do you offer glass doors?

We currently do not offer glass door options.

Are you affiliated with IKEA?

We are not affiliated or associated with IKEA in any way. UKAN products are made separately in order enhance the IKEA SEKTION system.

Installation

How are the cover panels installed?

Cover panels are cut down and screwed to the cabinet frame from the inside when installing. Please see our How To Guide.

How do I know which size cover panels to order?

When ordering cover panels, you choose the cover panel based on the height you are trying to reach. For example, if you are putting a cover panel at the end of a base cabinet run you would use a 26x36 cover panel (legs 4.5” plus cabinet frame 30” for a total of 34.5” to cover the end of the run).

What is the difference between a pull-out and a drawer?

A pull out is a single drawer or set of drawers attached to a door that pulls them out when opened. From the front is looks like a door. A drawer is a single drawer attached to a drawer front.

Do you offer installation services?

We do not offer installation services.

Do you pre-drill the doors for handles?

Our fronts are not pre-drilled for handles. These are best done on-site once you have seen the final product in your space and chosen your hardware.

How do you install your toe kick?

To install our toe kick, the clips from the IKEA legs will easily screw on to the back of our product to clip on just as it normally would. Please see our handy installation guide for more details.

Ordering

What is the lead-time on orders?

Production timelines vary depending on the product ordered. Each individual product has that information listed on our website. It can be anywhere from 6-12 weeks from the order being placed.

Shipping can vary depending on size, weight, and location of your order. Shipping is calculated at checkout. All orders over $4,000 qualify for free shipping within Canada. Some restrictions may apply.

What payment options do you offer?

What taxes will I be charged?

Can I change my order after it’s been placed?

You have 24 hours after your order is placed to make changes and edit your order. You can
do this by contacting us at info@ukanprojects.com with your requested changes, order number, and contact information.

Up to 24 hours: No fee

2-3 business days: 25% restocking fee for each changed/removed item.

After 3 days: No changes and /or edits can be made.

Order changes are subject to a change order fee.

What if I want to cancel my order?

You have 24 hours after you have placed your order to cancel. You can do this by contacting
us directly at info@ukanprojects.com if your requested changes, order number, and contact information.

Up to 2 hours: no fee

2-3 days: 25% restocking fee on order total.

After 3 business days: No
cancellations. All sales final.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

Shipping

We ship anywhere in Canada where shipping services are available.

How much is shipping?

Shipping can vary depending on size, weight, and location of your order. Shipping is calculated at checkout. All orders over $5,000 qualify for free shipping within Canada. Some restrictions may apply.

Can I pick up my order?

We do not offer pick up orders currently.

What if something arrives damaged?

Once your order has arrived, please inspect your order carefully and notify us of any problems within 2 business days. Please ensure you document any damage of your order. This includes taking photos of the outside packaging upon delivery as well. Report any damage to us at info@ukanprojects.com.

Warranty

Can I return my order?

Your order is considered final once placed. As all product is made-to-order, we do not accept returns. We will, however, fix or replace any product with a manufacturer-related imperfections. Please see our warranty section for the most up to date information regarding that process. You can find our warranty information here.

Miscellaneous

How do I care for my custom material?

Use a damp cloth with mild, non-abrasive soap to clean your cabinets and dry immediately with a microfibre cloth. Never leave any water standing on cabinet surfaces. Please see our care and instructions for the most up to date information on caring for your new material.

Do you make fronts that fit IKEA’s discontinued AKURUM kitchen system?

We currently only offer material for IKEA’s SEKTION kitchen system.

Do you have a physical store front?
